Things to do and see in India
The Flag Lowering Ceremony is located at the
border of India and Pakistan and it is the only place that travelers
can pass through into Pakistan and vice versa. This ceremony is
located just 29km from Amritsar and a little further from Lahore

side and Wagah which is on the Pakistan side. This is a ceremony

name of Akbar, Jehangir, and Shahjehan. All three of them took
part in the construction of the Red Fort but at different
periods of time. The Red Fort was completed in 1648 by Shahjehan
and was called "La Qila" in Hindi. The only way to get to the
Red Fort is by going through the Delhi Gate on the west, this
gate is decorated with tiles and ornaments. Every night at the

Qutab Minar is a World Heritage site and
is surrounded by other monuments that are on Delhi's top
historic sights. The Qutab Minar is a red and buff sandstone
tower which is the largest stone building still standing. This
building dates back to 1199 AD, there are five stories total and
the bottom three stories of the building were built by
Qutubuddin Aibak. The fourth and fifth stories were built by
Sultan Alauddin Khalji. It wasn't until later when the added
features were built such as the railings and a "mock Mughal"
cupola. The cupola is no longer attached to the building, it is
now standing in a lawn nearby and was renamed Smith's Folly.
This monument is also decorated with some of the most beautiful
carvings that are Quranic verses.
